At least masasabi ko na hindi siya Purefoods Chunkee the movie... walang endorsement sa kahit anong parte ng pelikula ang naganap... at dahil dyan masaya ako...
Hindi ako mahilig manuod ng pelikulang pilipino sa kadahilanang madalas ang mga ito ay corny o kopya lang mula sa banyagang mga kwento... Pihikan ako sa mga pinapanuod ko... at kadalasan nakakapanuod lang ako ng tagalog kapag may film festival pag Disyembre, pero hindi rin yun ganun kadalas...
Ang kinatutuwa ko dito sa pelikulang ito eh, may natututunan ako na bagong mga pamahiin, kagaya ng, hindi pala maaaring ikasal ang magkapatid sa loob ng isang taon... Malas... Mabuti na lang wala akong kapatid... Di rin ata ako ikakasal...feeling ko lang... o kung mangyayari man yun, eh medyo matagal-tagal pa... Anyway, lumalayo na ako sa topic... yun nga, malas daw ang sukob sa patay at sukob sa kasal... sinusumpa kung sino man yung sumusuway doon... Kaya kung sinu-sino ang namatay at nawala sa pamilya ni Kris Aquino at Claudine Barretto.
Tungkol sa pelikula, maganda naman siya, gaya ng sabi ko kanina at least hindi na nagpopromote si Kris ng chunky corned beef niya... May kwento naman siya at nakakatuwa ang ilang eksena... Nakakatakot palang maging multo si Bernard Palanca.. bagay sa kanya yung mga ganung klase ng role... effective siya... tapos yung batang multo... nakakakilabot... nanginginig ako kapag nakikita ko siya... pero wala pa ring tatalo kay lady lotus feet para sa akin... mas nakakatakot nga lang itong pelikulang ito...

ENTRY 33: RANDOM TYPED WORDS
It's around 2 o'clock in the morning here in Manila and my shift will start in less than three hours. I'm just passing time, and I don't have anything really intelligent to say... I would like to try and be funny this time, but Im dumbed down by my lack of sleep...

So for the past few days I've been watching the last season of 24... Damn President of America is a friggin' terrorist. It wasn't obvious at first, but it was how the story went... that was great... I thought first that it was the vice-president who's been masterminding the terrorist attack on Jack Bauer's fifth sleepless day...
Seriously, this show, although I haven't seen the past 2 seasons, still was very good. I didn't need to watch all previous days because everything was summarized everyday... What I'm disappointed at is the death of Michelle Dresler and Tony Almeida... Oh well, I think they would want to have a clean slate for this show next season... It seems that Jack's next adventure will bring him to China...

On other notes, I just got back from being sick the other day... Fever due to stress and I guess my lack of decent sleep... I'd like that actually, 'cause I lose weight everytime I get sick... I haven't weighed myself lately, but I think I've lost a couple of pounds since I haven't been eating much...

This week also, I bought a new perfume... Aqua di Gio by Armani... Bought it from a friend... It was a real bargain actually... I bought it for like almost half the price... It was a gift for him, but I think he needs cash more so he sold me the bottle... 2.5k 2 gives... I guess I was lucky... But damn, 2 perfumes in one month... My goal is to buy only one per quarter... I guess that means that I'll have to buy something else next quarter...

I'm mostly happy this week... not much happened, but the good stuff outweighed the bad... I was satisfied with my comic book purchases for the week... they were all good... specially Civil War... The return of Thor!!! A lot of good comic books are coming out from Marvel these past few months... I'm glad I stuck with this company rather than the Distinguished Competition... Ah just like people are saying, Marvel heroes are more relatable...
Looking forward to my one day weekend... Hopefully though that I will have plenty of nap time this weekend... Wish me luck... Woosahhh!!!

ENTRY 32: LADY IN THE WATER
This is a dumb movie... I never thought that there would be a worse film than Superman Returns this year... I didn't like it... I didn't think that the movie made a point or had a relevant story... I understood it, but I did not appreciate it... Maybe that's why there was no big star that was attached to this film... It was ridiculous... M. Night Shyamalan's lost his touch... He's 3 against 2 right now... 3 crappy films compared to 2 okay films... Maybe he should just stick with kids seeing dead people and aliens...

This film... I call it the spot-the-microphone-film... I think that I saw a microphone above the actors' heads more than 15 times during the entire movie... to put emphasis MORE THAN 15 TIMES!!! That's just a bad job of editing... It was unworthy of my hundred plus pesos... Should have just bought something more valuable... It's crap.

ENTRY 31: PIRATES OF THE CARRIBBEAN 2
This movie Im not sure what to say... It's definitely better than the crapfest that was Superman Returns... I'm being harsh on that movie because it was really disappointing... Anyway, Im here to talk about Jack Sparrow and crew, on their second voyage to the silver screen...
I saw this movie last Saturday with a couple of friends (read my previous post to learn more...)... what can I say, I knew what to expect (thank you Lester Santos for giving away the ending)... someone prominent in the film was going to die... and it was just a taste of what's to come for the ending next year... but Im not going to talk about that... this blog entry here is about those damn pirates...
Im not sure what the timeline of this story falls on, but in the film, Will and Elizabeth were imprisoned for crimes of aiding a known pirate... So now to bargain for their freedom, Will must find Jack and get his magical(?) compass... You know the usual whereever Jack goes, trouble immediately follows... Apparently, Jack sold his soul to pirate Davey Jones, and the time finally came for him to pay up... Of course being the hero in the film, Jack wouldn't allow that to happen... So now, he must trek the vast oceans to find the Dead Man's Chest for whoever gets hold of what's inside it will have full control of the entire ocean...
I didn't think that the premise of this film could be summarized into that paragraph considering that the movie was too long... I didn't have a problem with the length of the story, it's just I feel that there have been some scenes that was placed there that don't necessarily advance the story... That's how I feel about it... But it was funny... I can tell you that... Johnny Depp was amazing here as he was on the first film... It's crazy... I love it... Critics say, he was the saving grace of the film... Actually that is true. I don't disagree with that statement... Some of the most memorable scenes in the film involved him... Too bad though he had to die in the end... Ooops... sorry for the spoiler... (Im just being bitter)...
Anyway the ending was a shocker... and it's something that makes you want to fast forward time to the same period next year to be able to watch part 3 of this film... and spider-man3... That would kick ass!!!

ENTRY 30: THE WEEKEND
My my - time went by so fast I didn't even feel that the weekend went by... I guess one reason for that was that I didn't have a weekend to enjoy... We had a six-day work week, and although I was absent last Saturday morning I still was restless...
Friday 9:00pm - I woke up felt dizzy, I think I was having high blood pressure that night... decided not to come to work... too tired and burned out (correct my english if it was wrong)... Wasn't sleepy so I watched "Shall We Dance" on cable... (Remembered why it was my favorite movie of recent time... hopefully my copy will be returned by my co-worker)... Anyway, wasn't able to sleep well because I wasn't sleepy.
Saturday 3:00am - I think that's the time my eyes finally became heavy...
Saturday 7:30am - Woke up abruptly because Francis (the same guy who didn't return my copy of Shall We Dance) called to ask if we have salary already (YES, our salary came in on a Saturday!!!)... I think I snoozed for like 30 minutes after that...
Saturday 9:00 am - Finally gave trying to sleep... watched episodes of the new season of CSI: Las Vegas on DVD... Went back to my room after 9 episodes to try to get some more sleep by reading comic books...
Saturday 5:30pm - was asked to go out and watch a movie in Greenbelt by same guy who did not return my copy of Shall We Dance... hung out for awhile and waited for his girlfriend to join us... Killed time outside a coffee shop because next start time was later in the evening... Sorry, I just have to grope because we met at 6:30 only to find out that the film will start at 9:50... I think blood pressure rose again because of the coffee...
Saturday : 9:50pm - watched Pirates of the Carribbean... It was a LONG movie...
Sunday 1:00 am - came to work... was late for about an hour... was also informed that my campaign was without a leader for 3 minutes... anyway back to business as usual... people missed me... hehehe...
Sunday 9:00am - end of shift... but stayed at work to finish reports and stuff...
Sunday 10:30am - finally decided to go home...
Sunday 11:30am - got home but did not rest... bought some vcd's (Munich, Saving Private Ryan, Eight Below and one more movie)... watched the rest of the season of CSI...
Sunday 7:30pm - although I was sleepless, was convinced to join some high school classmates in Starbucks in SM Sucat... tried to stay awake... but gave up 10pm...
Sunday 10:00pm - Finally, after more than 36 hours decided to go to sleep...
I was supposed to go to a doctor today to have a check-up to see if Im dying of cholesterol build-up... but did not go because I wanted to sleep... I watched Munich and Eight Below... did not really understand the first film because I was busy thinking of things... that did not matter...

Kakatapos ko lang na kausapin yung mga kliyente namin sa opisina at eto, nangangarag ako... Di naman ako nasabon pero wala kasi akong katulong na magbantay sa programa ko... ENTRY 28: WE WRITE TO EXPRESS NOT TO IMPRESS
This has got to be one of the best advice (or is it advise?) that was given to me this weekend... I shouldn't be comparing my blog with others... Im different, and there are no two minds that ever think the same... thank you aajao and raven... I should be posting this on my comment , but I'd rather put it here so that I can add one more entry for the year...
I've been trying hard to impress people with my blogs, that most of them aren't really heartfelt anymore (can't help being cheesy... that's who I am)... Anyway, then my last entry came in, and people's comments poured (just 2), and I realized I shouldn't be comparing my works with others... it's wrong... and it just shows how much of a brat I am... which normally I am not...
But thank you for your opinions guys... I learn a lot from them... Keep them coming.

ENTRY 27: GENERAL OBSERVATION OF THE BLOG UNIVERSE
I've been blogging for more than 8 months already, and I've been reading other people's opininions longer... and comparing theirs with mine, I can only say one thing... I AM A VERY SHALLOW GUY...
There have been a lot of blogs that I've seen that are so politically charged and nationally motivated that their entries alone make you want to do something to promote change... While mine is about comic books, perfumes and the occassional bitching about my having no love life... How pathetic is that?! They write about real important stuff... I write about myself... and nobody seems to be interested... at least I'm seeing that a lot of people are snooping around my humble little site... That gets me inspired to write a little...
Funny thing though, I noticed that funny sites are always popular... as well as people who have a huge grudge against the planet... what's up with that?! Anyway, it's an entertaining read, that's why they're hits with people... I'm not going to tread that path because I'm not that kind of person... although there would be times that I'll pour out my rage here...
One more thing I notice people like to put on their blogs... poems... I don't like poetry... In my life I've written only about 3 poems... They all suck!!! Im a writer (in my opinion), but a poet... Hahahaha... But poems are good entries... if you're lazy just write a poem... problem with that is, it can be easily plagiarized as you cannot put a patent (correct me if Im wrong about this) on your works of art... I can just copy paste these poems and tell people that I wrote it... which I won't do... ever... believe me... If one day you see a poem on my blog...

Hopefully, by this year, you'll be seeing a poem on my blog...

ENTRY 26: I WANT TO GO TO PRISON
I love this show!!! Honestly, I think this is one of the smartest written television shows out there right now... I finished the whole first season of this show last weekend... And all I can say is WOW!!! Brilliant...
So here's the story... Two brothers: Michael and Lincoln... Lincoln got framed and was sentenced to death by electric chair. Michael, believing that his older brother is telling the truth decides to save him by breaking him out of prison... How does he do that? He committed a crime to get himself in jail... The thing is, Michael's a genius... and he has a plan on how to get his brother out of there, even having the blue print of the entire prison tattoed on his body... Along the way, he meets inmates who could help him get out of there to the safety of Mexico... but not everything goes according to plan...
It's a pretty violent show... definitely not for kids... But I repeat, it's bloody brilliant!!! The season finale is a cliffhanger, and a damn good one too... will they escape or not? they're already out and on the run by the way... anyway, I can't wait for season 2 to start... Id like to know what happens to Linc's son, the President and basically everyone in that show...
Watching the show makes me want to go to prison... Too bad, jail here in the Philippines isn't as comfortable as the one on Fox River...

ENTRY 25: CONFESSIONS OF AN IMPULSE BUYER
I should never be left alone in a mall armed with a wallet and/or cash!!! NEVER!!! Last weekend, I was at Robinson's Galleria supposedly on my way home... but I fancied myself to pass by the department store to check out perfumes... Now if you've been reading my past entries, you know Im addicted to those little scented bottles of water... I didn't back out to the free sample the guy (I don't know what you call those people behind the counters) was giving out... Suffice it to say, I was cornered... he was giving me all those deals if I buy Armani Code black or Polo Black... who was I to turn down a good deal... So there goes my four thousand bucks... sigh...
This is the reason why I don't want to have a credit card (and I never seem to be qualified to have one)... I can't resist temptation... And temptation is everywhere... Like this month's issue of FHM (the 100 sexiest women of the world)... a new earring... Men's Health Magazine... and of course my weekly dose of comic book goodness...
Maybe my mom knew that I would have these kind of tendencies because she never lets me borrow money from her... she doesn't even trust me with it to pay for our bills... this is quite an eye-opener for me... I wasn't like this when I was a kid... no scratch that... I was an impulsive buyer even when I was young... I remember now that everytime I had money I'd always use it to buy me an Archie comic or a tow something... I'm never good with money... I've been working for three years now and I haven't saved a single centavo yet...

ENTRY 24: VACATION
I work in a call center and we have a long weekend ahead of us... Of course US based outbound campaigns have a longer vacation, but still, it's not just a normal 2 day break... Anything that gets me rested for some time is always good for me...
My plan for the first few days is to finish the first season of Prison Break... and then since we finally have a kick ass sound system, I might just play with my PS2 again... Crimson Butterfly looks creepy played in the dark... hmmm... or silent hill... I've finished Resident Evil already, but I think it's scarier to play it with good audio... hmmm... what to do? what to do?
I'm taking this opportunity to write today because I won't have access online for 4 darn days... Ika nga nila... "wag sayangin ang pagkakataon" Im doing OT right now, so that I'll be paid better next payday...

ENTRY 23: WHY THE WORLD DOES NOT NEED SUPERMAN
Yep, I've seen it already... Im one of those guys who have to see the film on the first day of showing... Im not geeking out or anything like that... Its just that I had high expectations for the movie (being the comic book geek that I am)...
Boy, was I disappointed!!!
Don't take this the wrong way, the film was good... It's just that it seemed to me that it's more for children than for the general viewing public... Don't get me wrong, I'm not doing this because I'm a Marvel boy (my favorite superhero comic books are Batman Begins and Batman Returns)... It's just that, it lacked something... I don't know what... But there was nothing there... for me at least... I'm pretty sure that people will hate me for this... I really did not enjoy the movie... I guess if I were six years old, then it would be different...
THe story... Superman left the earth to visit his home planet of Krypton... When he comes back 5 years after, Earth is different in more than what he expected... everyone's changed...lois has a son... it seems that Earth does not need a Superman anymore... But then there's Lex Luthor... Like any comic book villain, he's up to no good... And he holds a weapon that can decimate the entire US eastern seaboard...
Pretty much meh for me... Nothing that gave me goosebumps, or made me squirm on my seat... The twist in the film didn't even do anything for me... To sum it up, pretty much predictable... Nothing special or new or groundbreaking or anything about the movie... Maybe my fault, because I expected too much from the director of X-men and X2... Very disappointing...

ENTRY 22: LOST
LACK OF SLEEP: this is what you get watching 7 consecutive episodes of the second season of Lost. Because of my schedule, lately, i haven't been up-to-date with my favorite television show of the moment... But my boss provided me a copy of the entire 2nd season of this program, so now Im catching up on all of the episodes that I haven't seen....
Im halfway through the season, and Im telling you, this show... much better seen together than an episode per week... Hence my lack of sleep... I feel too bad for Shannon, as she was the only hottie of the program... They had to kill her at the beginning of the season... I felt that the death was senseless... But it doesn't necessarily drag down the show... In fact, the new characters are really interesting... Ana Lucia and Mr. Eko are very good additions to the cast...
Season 2 basically tackles what happened with the survivors of the Oceanic flight to LA... what was in the hatch... who the new people are... what happened to Sawyer, Jin, Michael and Walt... What Sayid will be doing now that the love of his life is dead... And what the hell is wrong with Jack, Kate and Locke?! This is a very good show, much like my favorite comic books... Its got intrigue, action, drama, suspense and that creepy-looking black fog...
I dont know if what Im writing makes any sense to you... Im typing blindly as my brain is not functioning really well today... Im quite slow... Blame it on Lost... At least now, I've got something to do when Im not working... And then next week, during our very long vacation, I will be watching marathon episodes of Prison Break... Ive been hearing a lot of good reviews about it, so Im curious, I hope it lives up to my expectations...

ENTRY 21: CARS
I never knew why I ever doubted Pixar's ability to produce a quality movie... Maybe watching the trailer for this film never really got me excited about this film unlike in the past with Finding Nemo and The Incredibles... They made a believer out of me... Disney and Pixar, I will never question the movies you make ever again!!!
Cars is THAT good... At first, I thought "what the hell kind of story could you make with vehicles as stars?!" Well there is a story... And it's a damn good one... Who would've thought cars would make better actors than real people... Lightning McQueen is a rookie at the top of his game... Second place in the Piston Cup, and best bet to become the next top race car... But thing is, he's got an attitude problem... He's ahead of himself... Until he got lost to a town called Radiator City... Suffice it to say, he caused a major problem to the small town and was forced to stay to fix the damage he's done... Obviously, there he will meet some of the best friends he could have... eventually...
This is a cheesy movie... I was almost (and I say ALMOST) brought to tears watching this film... Of course Im an adult, so Im not going to do that... And I was with friends... There are some scenes where you really say 'awwww' and there are a couple of fast-and-furious-esque races... Plus the backgrounds are beautiful... Its like you're watching a cut scene from Final Fantasy... I liked the movie... no I LOVED the movie...
Right now Im punching myself for not watching this film during its opening week... Im stupid...

ENTRY 18: CIVIL WAR
I know collecting comic books is a very expensive hobby... but my opinion is, that it is A VERY GOOD investment... This is not the type of merchandise that devaluates over time... On the contrary, the older your comic book is, the higher its value (of course you have to take care of it, silly!)... I've heard somewhere that this is the third best investment (next to land and then computer... I think)...
I don't see why people think that this is just kid's stuff... I don't believe the topic of rape, war, violence and gratuitous sex is something the kids would appreciate (although I doubt no one would enjoy these)... Anyway, comic books are not for kids anymore... the way stories are told have matured pretty much like their market... I guess it matured the moment Gwen Stacey got thrown off the bridge and died (for those not in the loop, Gwen is Spider-man's girlfriend who got killed by Green Goblin)... I buy comic books every week, and I have never seen anyone younger than 18 come in to purchase a title...
The reason Im writing this post is my mission to get new people to be interested in this kind of hobby... If you want to start, Marvel has this new event going on right now called Civil War... It's about heroes having to give up their civil liberties because of a law that requires them to give up their secret identities and register to work for the government... This results in the division in the superpeople of the Marvel Universe, as some of them thinks that it is a load of crap with no basis... I am not going to give up all of the spoilers in the saga, but I can tell you that this is one of THE BEST story I have ever read...
It's gotten a lot of media coverage lately because of one huge revelation on the second issue (the ending is great)... Great storytelling and even greater art... I bring this book to work, and piqued the interest of three of my colleagues... It's like a big budget summer movie that's big on action but does not forget about getting people to feel for it's characters...
This is not for those who have a tight budget... You'll have to buy a handful of titles to get a grasp of the whole story (as it crosses over almost all of the Marvel titles)... But even with that, you'd still get the idea: all of the heroes are at a war with each other... You just have to choose a side... their banner says it all: "Whose side are you on?"
It is an interesting and very entertaining read... For those who have money and don't know where to spend it on... This comic book is worth the 180php you'll pay for... and might be more, if you take good care of it...

It's fun having two cellphones... You get a lot of jokes all the time... I often get green jokes (although I don't understand why)... Apparently, I give off this aura of being dirty... My fault maybe cuz I don't take a bath daily (i hope you know that it's a joke)... Anyway, my favorites are those knock knock jokes... I know its corny, but what can I do, Im easy...

ENTRY 16: INDEPENDENCE
If I am living in the United States, I'd be branded a loser... Why? Technically, I still live with my parents...
What's with the technically? My relationship with my parents is a bit complicated... They are not separated (I would like to believe that they are happy with each other)... But anyway, to make things simple, they live in another house, and me on my own... Thing is, they own the house... So technically, I still live with my parents... Nevertheless, they've been squatting in my place for like three months already... and Im only home just to sleep and take a bath...
This weekend (actually, Ive been contemplating about this for months already), I realized that I really needed to live on my own... there are a lot of thigs that I need to do, that my parents don't need to know... Just so you know, even without my parents, the place I live in, I share with my grandmother (and she's one really nosy person!!! But don't get me wrong, I love the old bird)...
I would like to be independent for once... Far away from people who know me since I was a kid... Far away from people who would report to my parents every single movement that I make... Id like to be free for once... And of course, i would want to see something new... or some new faces... A condominium in the urban area would be nice... Hmmm... how much would a unit there cost? Millions...
Give me ten years... I will have one by then...

ENTRY 15: COLLEGE
Since most of the schools will start this week, I will pay homage to them... err... schools... I've been out of one for more than three years already, and am proud to say that I did good after... I got promoted early on, and am enjoying the perks of yuppihood (see you learn new terms reading my blogs)... But right now, its not about work and the office... its about school... specifically COLLEGE!!!
Unlike most people in the planet, I enjoyed college more than my high school... Part of it is because I was more popular then than when i was in hs... and I was smarter too... I received medals when i was in college... back in my secondary education, the only medal i got was a loyalty medal... but in college, it was for something i did... a trophy, if you must... Suffice it to say, I was more involved... And i had more friends (too bad though, I don't get to talk to them anymore)...
Anyway, back to the topic at hand... college... Those were four good years of my life... Some of the most interesting people I met, I met during these four years... And I've had a lot of
(mis)adventures during these times... starting with...
ROAD TRIP: Of course now you'll have classmates who drives their own cars, so this is a given... My first one was on my first year... we had a project... and it's about getting to know your peers more... and for us to be able to do that, we have to go out-of-town... We've had none of those wacky moments that you'll see in the movies, but we did have fun though, and we got to know each other very well... the people who were with me during that road trip, were the people i hung out with for the rest of my college life... so it was cool...
TERM PAPERS/THESIS/DEFENSE: I know I hated this part of my tertiary life... its the sweat-inducing, sleep-depriving, and most mind-fucking thing a student MUST go through... I don't think college will be complete if you didn't go through this... and if you didn't go through that... WHAT FRIGGIN' SCHOOL DID YOU GO TO?! Im a nerd (a cool nerd) back when I was a student... but i loved doing this... in a way, I learned to talk to people with authority because of these... Im a slow-thinker, but doing these helped improve my debating abilities (if I have any... I'd still lose if I join a contest)... and my social skills as well...
NIGHTLIFE: This is the time of my life wherein my schedule allows me to have a nightlife... school ending at 9pm most of the time... although my click don't go out that much after school, i still am able to enjoy what the best bars in Makati had to offer... Dont get me wrong, i dont go out that much, BUT there are times wherein you just need to chill even for awhile... Those are rare moments... precious and few...
MONEY: I may be as bad as DAMIEN (for those not in the know, he's the boy from Omen), but im not the type who overprice my tuition fee... My educational plan pays half of my tuition fee, so I can't cheat on that... anyway, my money i get from my parent's pockets... or for my case, our business... I miss not having to worry about where I will get my money, because during college I can easily depend on my parents... Unlike now of course, having a bi-weekly salary... If I don't have anymore money, Ill just tell my parents about some made-up project for a non-existent subject and voila, instant cash to splurge on comic books... but now... 'sigh.'
I'd like to write some more, but then again, a family member might chance upon this site and i don't have deniability... this site being advertised on my friendster and all that... I miss college, but not that much...
Unlike most people in the planet, I enjoyed college more than my high school... Part of it is because I was more popular then than when i was in hs... and I was smarter too... I received medals when i was in college... back in my secondary education, the only medal i got was a loyalty medal... but in college, it was for something i did... a trophy, if you must... Suffice it to say, I was more involved... And i had more friends (too bad though, I don't get to talk to them anymore)...
Anyway, back to the topic at hand... college... Those were four good years of my life... Some of the most interesting people I met, I met during these four years... And I've had a lot of
(mis)adventures during these times... starting with...
ROAD TRIP: Of course now you'll have classmates who drives their own cars, so this is a given... My first one was on my first year... we had a project... and it's about getting to know your peers more... and for us to be able to do that, we have to go out-of-town... We've had none of those wacky moments that you'll see in the movies, but we did have fun though, and we got to know each other very well... the people who were with me during that road trip, were the people i hung out with for the rest of my college life... so it was cool...
TERM PAPERS/THESIS/DEFENSE: I know I hated this part of my tertiary life... its the sweat-inducing, sleep-depriving, and most mind-fucking thing a student MUST go through... I don't think college will be complete if you didn't go through this... and if you didn't go through that... WHAT FRIGGIN' SCHOOL DID YOU GO TO?! Im a nerd (a cool nerd) back when I was a student... but i loved doing this... in a way, I learned to talk to people with authority because of these... Im a slow-thinker, but doing these helped improve my debating abilities (if I have any... I'd still lose if I join a contest)... and my social skills as well...
NIGHTLIFE: This is the time of my life wherein my schedule allows me to have a nightlife... school ending at 9pm most of the time... although my click don't go out that much after school, i still am able to enjoy what the best bars in Makati had to offer... Dont get me wrong, i dont go out that much, BUT there are times wherein you just need to chill even for awhile... Those are rare moments... precious and few...
