A GOOD RUN

It has been a good run.

Eventually it has to end.

Some things just need to be sorted out first.

But for now the curtain needs to be closed out.

  2. So, are you shutting this blog down as your way of saying Merry Christmas to us, engel?

Your parrot has seen the future, and it's featherless.

  11. Let time be the salve to heal the wounded. Let fate be the author of the story we keep. Let the future assess the decisions we hold.

We can only respect the choice that you've made. Whether or not it is the appropriate, it does not matter. What matters is that you drew this path in prudence, and the line was swift with conviction.

Be well Engel, as you seek the light in the mists of disbelief. When you least expect it, hope will spring and everything will again fall into the cadence of your heart. Beating again.

We have to hold on to hope. Despite the foreboding jadedness, or the lingering fear. It's all we have to accompany ourselves in the authoring of our lives.
