ENTRY 46: THE LONG DRUNKEN WEEKEND

So if you're like me who works in a call center, last weekend was a long one... Whether you're calling the US or Canada (like my account), you didn't work yesterday... I guess the only exception are the inbound people...

It's been awhile since my program had an outing of some sorts... If I'm not mistaken, the last time we did it, was last April... the start of summer... I think that was our anniversary celebration... Because we've been having like 6th day overtimes for two months, we've decided to rest up a bit, relax, and go out of the city and enjoy a little bit...

We went to Pansol Laguna to have our outing... the first time wherein I helped in organizing one... It was a lot of fun... I think I spent 75% of our time there drunk... Imagine drinking Gran Matador and having San Mig Light as your chaser... That was fun... I can't believe that I did not pass out or throw up... I can even still remember everything I did there...

Of course there were still some things that i would've liked to do that I wasn't able to because of having lack of time and preparation, but the important thing is, everybody bonded... I think somehow in some way we got to know a little of each other better...

Here's some of the things I learned through our little bonding activity...
  • Now i know that one of my colleagues is a huge flirt when drunk!!!
  • I know that there are certain people that takes jokes seriously
  • A couple of love teams were formed... just for fun
  • Drunk people are fun to hang around with
  • You do NOT follow a shot of Gran Matador with San Mig Light... that shit's strong...
  • Holding the mic in a videoke after you swim will get you grounded
  • You sleep better when your room is air-conditioned
  • Oh yeah and I can stay under water for longer than 30 seconds now... I still don't know how to swim though...
  • One good bonding activity is to eat like soldiers... all the food is placed on a few banana leaves... it's fun to share germs with your friends.
  • I like beer...
